I Love Economics (ILE) is a nonprofit organization created for the purpose of supporting educational initiatives in the field of Economics. ILE team conducts Economics competitions, educational activities and camps.
In the early years of the International Economics Olympiad, ILE was involved in its organization.
Our mission is to provide aspiring young economists with relevant economic knowledge. In ILE, we strive for diversity in all forms: we do not accept discrimination on any grounds. Neither do we confine ourselves to a particular Economics syllabus: instead, we aim at providing comprehensive educational experience for everybody involved.

ILE Summer Economics School, 2026
Educational camp for middle and high school students. It is conducted annually in August and includes two educational tracks: olympiad Economics and career guidance. HSE University is the key partner. Throughout the years, ILE Summer Economics School hosted lectures of a variety of outstanding economists.
Online platform for those interested in Economics. There, you can find previous tasks of various Economics competitions, recommendations on books and textbooks, recordings of lectures, and other materials that can be useful in preparation for Economics competitions.
Monthly online lectures by outstanding economists from different countries. The list of lecturers includes various science popularizers, professors, industry experts, researchers, etc.
Founder
Danil Fedorovykh is a Deputy Vice-Rector of HSE University, responsible for the development of HSE University intellectual competitions. He has more than ten years of academic and teaching experience and is a multiple winner of the Best Teacher award based on students’ votes. He has taught at HSE University, NES, MIPT, FEFU and Universidad Autónoma de Madrid.
Danil Fedorovykh promotes Economics among young generations. He is one of the founders of ILoveEconomics.ru, a website for Russian school students who are just starting to study economics. He is also the organizer of several Economics olympiads and summer schools, including the ILE Summer School of Economics.
Founder and General Manager
Alexandr Zhitkovsky is the Head of the HSE University Project Laboratory for the Development of Intellectual Competitions in Economics (Faculty of Economics).
He is also one of the creators of a unique educational product, an interactive financial literacy game, which has already been used for national competitions in more than 10 countries (Ireland, Portugal, Colombia, Ecuador, etc.).
